Kipchoge became the first person to run a marathon in under two hours, with a time of 1:59:40.2 in Vienna, Austria

This is a blistering pace of 2 min 50 sec per km, that is 4 min 34 sec per mile, just to give you an idea on how to complete a marathon in precisely 2 hours.🤣
So on Sunday 23rd Feb at 10:30 a team of 4-6 of us have decided to attempt to beat this!🏃♀️ The plan of attack
A marathon is 105.5 laps around a standard 400-meter outdoor track. A marathon is 26.2 miles long, which is the same as 42.195 kilometers
With a team of 6 thats 17.5 laps each. Each lap needs to be done in a time of 71 seconds.
Step 1- Get a team of 4-6 people
Step 2- Meet at Mountbatten track at 10:15 Mountbatten Centre, Alex Way, Hilsea, Portsmouth PO2 9QA Step 3- Strap your Garmin around a baton.
Step 4- Leg it 🏃♀️
You can go in any order and any distance you like...our plan is 400 meters each and maybe dropping to 200m if we get tired.
So get your team and meet us at the track at 10:30
